Planes 3

More Disney stuff. These are samples for the new Planes films. I am not familiar with the story at all, so I just made up what I thought would work the film. Being an avid airplane fanatic, these were a great deal of fun to draw. Again, the boards go from top to bottom.

Planes 2

More planes.

Planes 1

I really liked the character that I'd made up for these samples. I really wanted to explore his character more, but I ran out of time. Perhaps maybe one day soon!

Tink Boards 2

So here is part 2 of my Tinkerbell Boards. I think Iridessa is my favorite one to draw:}

Tink Boards

These are some Tinkerbell boards that I did for portfolio purposes. My kids have been watching these movies a lot lately, and you start to really get to know these characters. The first 5 panels are a pan, and boards go from top to bottom.

The Queen

Just a quick sketch on lunch for today. I sometimes dream of drawings, and this one I had in my brain last night. I wanted to do a drawing where I could play with some composition as an exercise. I'm not sure if I like the window or not, so I added it anyway, what do you guys think? I also made her grey, is she a good queen, or a bad queen?

The Penalty Killer

So, I'm continuing the theme of the week with some art that I did a while ago, that I'm just now sharing. Before I moved out to LA, I thought that I'd try my hand at concept design for video games. So I had an idea to combine an M1 Abrams Tank with a monster truck that could be used for warfare on another planet. So I did a really quick sketch (which I looked for, but just can't find...) then jumped right into sketchup. It was a ton of fun, and it took me about 4 days to complete, with another week to color. I believe this was the first model I've ever fully rendered out in Photoshop. So below is the black and white sketchup model, and the top is the fully colored version. Enjoy;}
